Labour link break-in?
PA Auckland The secretary of the Auckland region of the Labour Party reported a break-in of his home to the Auckland police yesterday. A window had been forced with a spade, Mr M. J. Shone said, but nothing was taken in the raid. A personal file of political material in his bedroom had been ransacked, he, said. . “The only possible motive seems to be that someone with extreme political views was interested in having a look at the file,” he said.
