Chairman for tribunal
PA Wellington An Auckland barrister and solicitor, Mr D. F. G. Sheppard, has been appointed as a magistrate and chairman of the No, 4 Division of the Pla.nning Tribunal. This is the division set up under last year’s National Development Act. The Minister of Justice (Mr McLay) announcing the appoint men’ v,-etr.rU->< said
Mr Sheppard was one of a small number of Auckland lawyers who had special expertise in planning tribunal work.
He is a partner in the firm of Brookfield, Prendergast, Schnauer, and Smytheman and was a member of the commitee set up by the Government to review the Public Works Act.
