Orienteers face heavy going

Orienteering competitors had to fight steep slopes and thick undergrowth at Mount Grey recently. Both planners and competitors were troubled by the heavy growth in the area; the map was drawn some years ago. Fastest times in the A course went to Graham Boniface (men) and Linda Bal! (women). Much of the course was located close to roads and tracks, but some difficult sections required slow cross-country travel by compass through pine forest or beech forest.
