Fishing rivers
Fishermen can look forward to a good week-end. The North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society reports that the Hurunui, Ashley, Selwyn, and the mouth and °orge of both the Waimakariri and Rakaia Rivers are all clear and fishable. Only the Waiau River is dirty and unfishable.
