A Fokker Friendship, bought by the Royal New Zealand Air Force from Air New Zealand, gets a polish from Mr Ivor Jones in a hangar at Christchurch Airport yesterday. Two months and a half have been spent converting the aircraft for its military role. The R.N.Z.A.F. will buy two more Friendships and will use the aircraft for pilot training and general use.
