Divisions in society
Sir, — M. J. Wright (February 18) has some good points about our society. I am less happy about his belief that we must “get rid of the foreign-motivated stirrers in the unions.” Until we correct the errors in our society, they are an inevitable part of the scene and neither can nor maybe should be “got rid of” unless we are prepared to get rid of lots of other people too. — Yours, etc., G. C. SUGGATE. February 18, 1980.
