Sir,—Father Donnelly must be very naive not to realise that his publicised views on sex serve as a go-ahead signal for advocates of all sorts of sexual deviation disguised by high-flown jargon. Those of us who vaguely feel that there should be some
standards somewhere would like to know how the young (and ourselves for that matter) can distinguish, say, good homosexuality from bad. Could not his arguments, that sometimes sexual deviation is desirable, be equally well applied to suicide pacts?—Yours, etc., V. F. WILKINSON. January 4, 1980.
