Treatment of children
Sir, — James Duncan (December 21) gives us an example of an abuse of corporal punishment. I agree with him completely that such treatment is wrong. Others could possibly produce such examples too. but these do nothing to change my argument that there are times and situations in which corporal punishment may be a viable alternative to other forms of behaviour modification. — Yours, etc., ROSS LINDSAY.
