The others were defused. In Belgium, the Public Prosecutor’s Office said on Friday that two letter bombs addressed to people in Britain had been defused in a Brussels sorting office. Another exploded a week previously in a sorting office there. The I.R.A. last month said' that there would be no holi-j day truce this year.
