Violent parody
NZPA Brisbane Ten persons were arrested after a near riot at a Christmas Eve performance by a Sydney rock group at the Cloudiand ballroom. Brisbane. More than 12 police cars were sent to the ballroom after fighting broke out among the noisy' crowd of about 1700. All those arrested were charged with drunkenness and obscene behaviour. The rock group. Jimmy and the Boys, called off plans to burn an effigy of the baby’ Jesu.~ on stage during the performance, which was billed as a parody of the Nativity scene.
