Inventor lays Solden egg
NZPA-Reuter Geneva A young French man has invented a hard-boiled egg-shelling machine that could save thousands of man-hours in restaurants and business cafeterias. Jerome Frechou, aged 32, an industrial designer, won a gold medal and the Franco-Swiss Cahmber of Commerce prize for his invention at the recent international inventions show in Geneva. The egg-shelling machine, which works under hydraulic pressure, automatically shells 2000 hardboiled eggs an hour. It is likely to be a boon to big egg-eating countries such as West Germany.
