Council pools and Q.E.II Park
Sir, — Mrs R. Whitta (November 17), complains about the cost of entry into the pools at Queen Elizabeth II Park: does she realise that a few yards down the road at the North Beach pool she can enjoy a swim in heated pure water, drawn from wells, for 20 cents for both adults and children — and this under open skies. There is a water-slide for the children thrown in for good measure, so Mrs Whitta should shop around, and she will find cheaper bargains. — Yours, etc., N. R. DIXON. November 19, 1979.
