Old Stone House
Sir,—Thank you for the coverage in “The Press” of the restoration of the Old Stone House. This has helped giv§ about 1000 people the t
opportunity to view the house over the week-end. A tremendous amount of voluntary work went into the restoration and transformation, but I would like to supplement published accounts by paying tribute to the help of our architects and contractors. Bruce McGregor was the architect for the building work, and John Archer for the landscaping J. A. Harris was the building contractor, and Morgan and Pollard the landscaping contractors. They all worked in most cooperatively with the volunteers, and thus enabled the cost to be reduced in a very happy atmosphere.—Yours, etc.,
NORMAN ROBERTS. President, Cracroft Comunmunity Centre, Inc. November 19, 1979.
