Clerk for Chathams
Mr M. O. Dacombe, of l Queenstown, has been pointed County Clerk of the! Chatham Islands County! Council. Mr Dacombe is at present Administration Officer of the Lake County. He will take up the twoyear appointment at the end of this month The county comprises Chatham Island and the adjacent Pitt Island. It has a area of 2350 «q km and a population of 580.
