Lambing practice
Sir, — It is to be hoped that viewers watching “Country Calendar” (October 7) do not regard the unnecessary slaughter of the ewe as normal lambing practice. It is quite possible, with a little time and patience, to lamb ewes in difficulty, be the lambs alive or npt. “Country Calendar” is usually a well-presented programme: this was of the type 1. hope will not be repeated. — Yours, etc..
