The female star of the television satire “A Week of I It” was not on hand at the Mandalay Ballroom to accept her award. She is in Britain and. according to one sneaker at the function last <■ ening, is taping her verst- ■ of the Queen’s Christmas message. Runners-up to ‘he top award were Billy f. James and Tom Sharplin. The winner of the “group of the year” award vas the Citizen Band. Sharon O’Neil won the “rising star of the year” award.
