Former All Black dead
PA - Dunedin t Harry Simon, a former i Otago and All Black rugby halUback, has died in Karitane. He was aged 68. Mr Simon played 41 ; matches for Otago between 1931 and 1938 and he played , in all three tests against South Africa in New Zealand in 1937. i
I Mr Simon also represented the South Island. As a half-back, Mr Simon! was noted for his quickness) and accuracy of pass, and hei and Dave Trevathan formed/ a superb inside-back combination for the Southern I club, the Otago Union, and| the All Blacks.
