Soccer clubs to meet
I New Zealand’s top soccet clubs will meet in Wellington on Saturday to decide the best method of putting forward their case for the clubs to run the Rothmans League. The clubs will work out their proposal and hope to present it at the annual general meeting of the New Zealand Football Association in February. The most favourable way of ensuring the remit
:r reaches the meeting is to ' ;- have the clubs present it at J !e the regional associations’ an- 1 g nual meetings. e One of the main - com- ! s plaints likely' to be aired is the apparent removal of the t national league committee, j This committee has no real - power but can merely advise 9 the N.Z.F.A. There is a 1 strong feeling within the clubs that this committee, y its only real link with the t N.Z.F.A, is to be abolished.
