The project with which the appointee will be associated is led by Dr R. D. Wigley. Rheumatologist to the Palmerston North Hospital Board and is concerned with monitoring through elect ro-phsyiological recording procedures, changes in musculoskeletal function under differing disease and treatment conditions of arthritis patients ‘undergoing rehabilitation. • The project is being conducted in association with the Departments of Physics and of Psychology at Massey University and affords opportunity for the appointee both to be involved in a team project and to initiate individual research. The position should be of interest to persons holding Science Degrees and post graduate qualifications (preferably doctorates) in psy. chology or a related discipline and having special skills and interests in biological or neurophysiological psychology.
