PA Belgrade, Arab States have called on the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) to gixe the Palestine Liberation Organisation observer status at the annual joint meetings of the International Monetary Fund and; World Bank which begin to-j day. The Arab's advocacy of the P L.O. cause was delivered! yesterday to Mr Muldoon — 1
who is chairman of the joint meetings — by the Egyptian and Libyan delegations. They said in a letter that he. as chairman, should make the decision and not leave it tip to I.M.F. and World Bank officials, who had previously decided there was no place for the P.L.O. But Mr Muldoon said yesterday he would continue to be guided by the advice of his officials.
