M.P.s’ salaries
Sir, — I agree with A. J. Quinn (September 25) on salaries of members of Parliament. What a huge rise. We hear from the Prime Minister of the terrible state of the economy. Hospitals are sadly cut and many social amenities are cut because the economy cannot afford them. Well the economy cannot , afford the enormous rise that members have taken; thev can refuse to take so much. — Yours, etc.,
