Government and Arbitration Court

Sir, — Mr Bolger was proved wrong on three counts regarding his original threat to any favourable findings of the Arbitration Court on the drivers’ wage dispute. First, he openly admitted acting on an unsubstantiated radio report. Second, in spite of his denials, he did in fact so threaten the findings of the Court. Third, by emulating his absent leader he sought to increase his reputation by having a quick, cheap victory over the F.O.L. He came unstuck on all three counts, from which Mr Taiboys was forced to try to extricate him. — Yours, etc..
