Win to Canada in women’s golf
NZPA Perth Canada on Saturday in Perth won the women’s Commonwealth amateur golf title for the first time in the tournament’s 20-year history. New Zealand finished last in the four-nation competition. In a close battle, the more experienced Canadian side beat Australia by four matches to two. Australia and Canada shared a foursomes match eacl in the morning’s session, but Canada gained three singles victories to Australia’s one. In Saturday’s other match, Great Britain beat
