Turner, Howarth hit centuries
Glenn Turner scored bis seventh century of the season for Worcestershire against Warwickshire in the county matches which ended on Tuesday.
Another New Zealander, Geoff Howarth, scored a century for Surrey. Essex, the new county champion, won an exciting match against Howarth’s team, Surrey. The Essex left-arm seam bowler, John Lever, took his hundredth wicket of the season.
Surrey remains in second place on the table with Worcestershire third.
