Market leaders firm
Share prices continued to firm in moderately active trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. N.Z. Forest Products gained a further 1c to 265 c, and other market leaders to improve were Challenge, Fletcher, and Wattie. Crown eased 2c to 230 c on a disappointing trading profit. U.E.B. continued to firm, rising 1c to 99c. The N.Z.U.C. index rose 1.29 points to a new high for the year of 352.65.
