Vance for Ashburton
fA Ashburton The leading jockey, Bobby Vance, is to ride at the ' Ashburton County Racing Club’s meeting next Tuesday. Aa anonymous sponsor has offered to pay for Vanee’s travel expenses and mounts are being arranged by the vice-presi-dent of the club (Mr Michael Archdale). At this stage, Vance has already been booked to ride Front Line in the Rakaia Maiden and Maybe Foxy in the Effelton Handicap.
