Head says goodbye
The first principal of the Fairlie Forms 1-7 High School, Mr W. I. Ross, and Mrs Ross, were farewelled at a social function last week. Mr Ross has served at Fairlie for eight years, and Mrs Ross has been on the staff for seven of those years. Mr Ross said the people of the Mackenzie had "a great bunch of kids,” and outsiders coming to the school never failed to comment on the friendliness and good behaviour of the children.
