Hororata Club’s loss
Members of the Hororata Trotting Club will be told of a loss of $8052 for the 12 ! months ended May 31 last 'when the annual meeting is (held on September 6. A loss (of $3274 was' shown in the accounts for the previous 12 i months. i A meeting at Addington Raceway the night before and rain in Christchurch !on race morning had contributed to the smaller attendance at the club’s meeting, says the report of the president (Mr E. R. Mee). The club’s share of the T.A.B. distribution had dropped by $3700 because of an unsuccessful meeting the previous season, while gate receipts had dropped by $2OO and interest by $9OO.
