Stabbing charge
S’. Invercargill A man. aged 29, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at Invercargill yesterday charged with the attempted murder of another man at a* party in a house at Gore on Friday night. ‘ The man, whose name was suppressed, was remanded for two w’eeks to Dunedin Prison by Mr W. H. Reid, S.M., for a psychiatric repbrt. > The injured man, Lance .Ichn Pocklington, suffered least three stab wounds ahd a fractured skull. He is in the spinal unit at Burwood Hospital
