Young man dies in fall
A man was killed when he fell eight metres at a Sheffield Crescent factory, Burnside, about 6 p.m< yesterday. He was
David Thomas Stanley Doherty, aged 21, single, of 25 Rawson Street, New Brighton. Mr Doherty fell from the top of a drying chamber at the factory of Christchurch Carpet Yams, Ltd, when he was tending machinery.
