Six injured in collision

Six persons were taken to the Christchurch Hospital after a collision involving two cars and a motor-cycle at the intersection of Armagh Street and Fitzgerald Avenue about 10 p.m. yesterday. The woman motor-cyclist was admitted with moderately serious leg injuries. Her name was not available late last evening, but she was believed to be in a satisfactory condition.

The other five persons suffered only minor injuries. Three ambulances were called to the scene, and the Fire Service was called to wash away spilled petrol.
