Government securities
PA Wellington Sales of Government securities, totalling $100.9M were reported by specialised dealers for the week to July 13, the Reserve Bank reports.
Of this total, 38 transactions, totalling $96,230,000, involved treasury bills. The weighted-average yield for Treasury bill sales was 9.81 per cent. Sales of Government stock totalled $4,653,760 from 17 transactions. The weighted-average yield for stocks maturing under two years was 11.26 per cent, from two to five years 12.91 per cent, and more than five years 12.5 per cent. The transactions do not include those with the Reserve Bank.
