Gas producers
Sir, — The report that Waikato char is used in steel and other production processes (“The Press,” July 19) reminds me of the usefulness of this material in gas producers for motor vehicles. It is not as hard as anthracite but it did not clinker and gave better Since a public meeting was called earlier this year when 130 people showed interest in gas producers, a small group has met monthly helping to make a gas producer.— Yours, etc., i A.
