Indoor bowls
P. Sepie’s team of K. Sepie and R. Mclntyre has won the Canterbury Catholic indoor bowls triples title. In the final, Sepie beat P. Preston, who was partnered by B. Morel and L. Shaw, 9-7.
In the semi-finals, Sepie beat D. Hurley, 13-6, and Preston eliminated B. Chapman, 16-3. The tournament attracted a record entry of 65 teams and there were 20 qualifiers.
