Overseas course in youth development
The Ministry of Recreation and Sport has called for applicants for a sixmonth diploma course in youth development, which will be held in India. The successful candidate, who must be aged between 20 and 30, Will study youth development under the Commonwealth Youth Programme. Travel expenses, accommodation and meals will be paid for and the successful applicant will also receive personal, book, and clothing allowances.
The course will be held at the Commonwealth Asia-Pacific Youth Development Centre at Chandigarh in the Punjab province. Applications will close on August 15. Last year’s successful candidate was a member of the interschools Christian Fellowship, Mr M. Broadbent, who is now an advisory' officer attached to the Ministry’ of Recreation and Sport.
