Detective tells of tattoos on buttocks

PA Wellington A vice squad constable told the Magistrate’s Court at Wellington yesterday that he had eyes tattooed on his buttocks. The constable, whose name was suppressed, was being cross-examined by Mr B. Buckton, representing Noel Raymond Tuohy, aged 48. She was fully clothed.” The constable said he undressed, went into the sauna, stayed there for about eight minutes, then had a shower and returned to the sauna for five minutes. He then went to the lounge. After another conversation with Vicky, he had a drink, then went back to the massage room with her. She had changed her clothes and had a towel wrapped round her. He lay on the bed and she began to massage. After the ■ massage he handed her $5O land went to the lavatory. On I his return to the. massage [room Vicky was not there [and the money was missing.

“Aboyt a minute later Vicky jtturned to the room,”

the constable said. “I helped her move the bed to one side. She then lay a towel on the floor. She lay on her back on the towel. She was naked. A couple of minutes later members of the vice squad arrived.” Cross-examined by Mr Buckton, the constable agreed the drink he was given was orange juice. ■ Mr Buckton: Did you ask the lady whether she would provide extras or something like that? — I said to Vicky, ‘Do you do reliefs?’ and she replied, ‘Yes, for s2o.’ I then asked her if she went all the way. She replied. ‘Yes, sex is sso.’ The constable said he had : been working for the vice ! squad for two months. It was the first sauna parlour assignment he had been on. It had been his second visit to the parlour thaf evening.

Told by Mr Buckton that other massage parlour owners might give evidence that he was known because of the tattoos he had described and asked what he had to say about that, the constable replied: “I have been to only one other massage in Wellington. I have done this sort of thing for two aj'eeks.”
