Post office evacuated
Part of the Christchurch Chief Post Office was evacuated yesterday after, a small fire broke out in a computer room.
The fire, which started in wiring on the Hereford Street side of the building about 3.30 p.m., was quickly put out. Only minor damage was caused.
Five engines from the Central Fire Station attended the call.
