I PA Timaruj i A Geraldine man was at-| tacked and left unconscious: after disturbing intruders on (his property on Monday! : evening. Mervyn Reginald Voight ( (was admitted to the Timaru! 1 Hospital with head and neck I injuries. The police said he I was in no danger. The police are still trying! Ito piece the details of the; ■attack together, but it appears Mr Voight had reI turned home about 8.30 p.m. and heard noises in a shed. He was then attacked and was not found until an hour jlater, when his wife returned I home. A rake and a shovel i handle were found nearby. A police tracking dog was called in and police combed the area until 2 a.m. yesterday but found nothing? Sergeant A. J. Elliot said J that neighbours had been (interviewed but none had I heard anybody or seen any car in the area at the time of the attack. ' Inquiries are continuing. :
