WASTEWATER | DISPOSAL [m RESEARCH OFFICER A VACANCY EXISTS in the New Zealand Dairy Research Institute's effluent technology section for a graduate with an engineering chemical or food processing background for research into • the development- of aspects of dairy company wastewater disposal. The section is involved in researching methods of reducing the wastewaters from dairy plants and in various aspects of wastewater disposal. The Institute offers excellent laboratory facilities, and the advantages of working in an established grop within a multi-disciplinary research association. The appointee will be expected to show-initiative and self-motivation in this area of research for which current commercial investment is increasing rapidly. A willingness to travel to dairy plants throughout New Zealand is desirable.
