The hospital is recognised for postgraduate education as follows:— (1) Royal College of Surgeons of England and under the new regulations by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons for the purpose of the Fellowship Examinations in general surgery, anaesthesia, orthopaedics, ophthalmo-> logy and oto-rhi notary ngology. 12> Royal Australasian College of Physicians for ini service basic training in general medicine and paediatrics. 13) Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for training posts for MRCOG and D.Obst, RCOG. Diploma in Obstetrics of the Universities of Auckland and Otago. (4) Royal Australasian College of Radiologists. (5) Royal College of Pathologists of Australian and the Australasian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists — both in part.
