■ The 18-year-old Wayne I Hillis will ride in the 1978 Grand National Hurdles win|ner, Rapid Flight, for his grand-uncle, Bill Hillis, in the Teschemaker Steeples at iWaskdyke on Saturday. | Rapid Flight made a quick break-through as a chaser jby winning at Riverton at Easter. I Hillis impressed the
judges with his handling of Deep South • to win the steeples at the Hororata meeting last week. Another of his mounts on Saturday will be Young Kelly in the Claremont Handicap, the first leg of the T.A.B. double. Young Kelly has not raced since March, when he was fourth over a middle distance at Ashburton.
