RADIO AVON CONTINUES TO FIRM
Share prices were easier on a mixed, moderately active New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. Bunting eased 5c to 70c after saying "no” to the offer by Scott Group, while the latter fell 1c to 52c. T. J. Edmonds continued to benefit from its strong export business by rising 5c to 425 c. and Auckland Gas firmed 10c to 435 c on the demand f or gas shares. Both Radio Avon and Steel and Tube rose higher. The N.Z.U.C. index eased 0.69 point s to 332.49.
