! PA Hamilton ( A spark started two exI plosions in Frankton yesterday, blowing two heavy man- : hole covers across the road.
No-one was hurt. Council (workers had been about to (start pumping a petrol spill-
age out of the drains, and had left the scene to collect more equipment. A spark from cutting equipment at a nearby firm lit the heavy petrol fumes
and ignited the petrol flow ing high in the drains be. cause of week-end rain.
