Quality of film
Sir, —How disappointed I was to have an otherwise enjoyable evening, spoilt by the poor quality of the print of the film, “The Sound of Music.” Surely a new print could have been made available, as this one obviously has been played past its useful normal playing time.—Yours, etc., R. C. LIGHTFOOT. June 18, 1979.
[Mr Steeman, the manager of the Savoy One replies: “There was no other print available, but the film was most enjoyable.”]
