Milkman injured
A milkman was admitted to the Christcurch Hospital last evening after his fully laden truck careered down Soleares Avenue, Redcliffs, spraying glass and milk in all directions.
The accident happened about 10 p.m. A St John ambulance attended. An onlooker said that the truck’s brakes failed and it slid down the steep road, demolished a lamp post, and hit two parked cars. The milkman, who was driving the truck, suffered minor arm injuries.
