The report relates to an application made by the NEW ZEALAND CONTRACTORS’ FEDERATION (INC.), for approval of two collective pricing agreements these relating to the issue of plant hire rates. The Examiner in his report recommends that the Commission decline to approve the applications. (2) NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the Commission will conduct a public inquiry into this matter, pursuant to section 41 of the Act. (3) NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that, all persons who wish to take part in the hearing of this trade practice application, and who may be authorised by the Commission to do so pursuant to section 14 (1) of the Act, should notifv the Executive Officer of the Commission in writing stating their reasons, prior to 4 p.m. Friday, August 10. 1979.
