N.Z. wins second test
NZPA Lautoka New Zealand followed up its 6-0 soccer test drubbing of Fiji on Friday with a 3-0 win at Lautoka yesterday. The tourists again dominated Fiji and never looked in any danger On a hot day at Churchill Park. New Zealand’s three goals all came in the first half and although Fiji showed more
life after the interval the visitors were off target in this period with several more attacks. New Zealand’s coach, John Adshead, who said after Friday’s game in Suva that Fiji lacked the basic skills, said yesterday that they made more physical contact but basically “they haven’t improved at all.”
