Nine children died in pools
PA Wellington Nine children drowned in swimming pool accidents last year, according to a drowning survey made by. the Water Safety Council. Eight of these children were aged under five, and died in private swimming pools, said Mr M. Frohlich, executive director of the council. The other child died in a motel swimming pool.
