No site for scrambling
The Paparua County Council has decided not to use a site at Springs Road for motor-cycle scrambling facilities. However, alternative sites will be examined.
The council inspected a Ministry of Works site at Springs Road, but waived the idea because of leasehold difficulties and public objections.
The County Clerk (Mr G. Head) said yesterday that the council was still looking for a suitable site.
