Canty wins badminton
The Canterbury Division 111 badminton team had its second easy win in a fortnight when it beat Soiith Canterburv, 15-1 in a representative fixture at ‘the Skellerup Hall on Saturday evening.
The previous week-end Canterburv beat Nelson, 13-3, and on Saturday evening the Canterbury players, despite having played a full round of inter-club matches only a few hours earlier. had little trouble in beating their younger South Canterbury opponents. The next game for the Division 111 side is on June 30, against the West Coast, again at the Skellerup Hall.
